Terms and Conditions of Participation at Bosch ConnectedWorld 2018

Registration Policy and Registration Process
These Ticketing Terms and Conditions, which you accept when you place an order and purchase a ticket, apply to the purchase of tickets for Bosch ConnectedWorld 2018, February 20-22 in Berlin, from Emendo Event & Congress GbR (herein: operating company).The Ticketing Terms and Conditions always apply when the purchaser/visitor purchases tickets for Bosch ConnectedWorld from the operating company via the registration at bcw-bosch-si.com/registration

The operating company negotiates the event contract only as an agent in the name of and on behalf of Bosch Software Innovations GmbH (herein: event organizer). By ordering a ticket, the purchaser orders the operating company to handle the presale. These Ticketing Terms and Conditions apply directly between the purchaser and the operating company and govern conclusion of contract, price elements and methods of payment, provisions governing mailing and incorrect delivery, and rights of revocation.

Tickets & Fees
Access to the event is only granted on presentation of a valid ticket or other permit issued by the operating company or the event organizer. The organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the event to any entity or individual. The organizer’s receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance. Application and payments that are not accepted will be returned.

There are two ticket options available:

Bosch ConnectedWorld Ticket:The fee will include one place at the two-day conference, keynote sessions, all other topic session on stage 1, stage 2 and stage 3, the IoT exhibition, refreshments, lunches and the participation in the networking dinner. This ticket excludes the access to the parallel hold hackathon.

Bosch ConnectedExperience Ticket:The fee will include one place at the hackathon, the IoT exhibition, refreshments, lunches and the participation in the networking dinner. This ticket excludes the keynotes, and the topic sessions hold on stage 1, stage 2, and stage 3.

Both tickets and fees do not include travel to or from the conference or any accommodation costs incurred. Attendees from all countries are required to pay a value added tax of 19%.

Cancellation and Substitution
All attendee cancellations must be submitted via email to ticketing@bcw-bosch-si.com.
Cancellation charges shall be applicable as following:

Written notice received by Emendo Event & Congress GbR Percentage of fee to be charged (incl. VAT) Amount refundable (incl. VAT)
Until January 19, 2018 25% 75%
From January 20, 2018 100% 0 EUR

Please note that the same policy applies to accidental and/or duplicate registrations.

The operating company and the event organizer do not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of participants. No refund is made for no-shows (not showing up at conference).

If you are unable to attend the event and wish to substitute another attendee in your place, you must contact ticketing@bcw-bosch-si.com to arrange the replacement before 5pm February 20, 2018. If proper notification is not provided within this deadline, the organizer reserves the right to refuse the substitution. No refunds will be made for cancellations.

Payment Process
The conference fee can be paid by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) or PayPal only. After submitting your attendee information, you will be directed to the payment page. The operating company is authorized to fulfill the payment process on behalf of Bosch Software Innovations. You will receive your personal booking confirmation when the payment is successful.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event, in which case full refunds for registrations will be issued to attendees that have paid. The organizer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs borne by the registered attendees. If you wish to confirm your attendance at the postponed conference, your booking will be transferred to the new conference date.In the event of any occurrence not foreseen in these ‘Terms and Conditions of Participation’, the decision of the organizer shall be final.

Event Program
The organizer will endeavor to ensure that the published event program is correct at the time of the actual event. It may, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, be necessary to alter the program before the event, and the organizer reserves the right to do so without notice.

Audiovisual Recordings
All visitors acknowledge that they may be photographed or filmed by the organizer’s official photographer/videographer, and consent to their image being used in promotional material by the organizer. The visitor also consents to audiovisual recordings being broadcast and published over a transmitter, the Internet, or other means. All rights to any images and video taken are retained by Bosch Software Innovations.
